Sunday Layin

Hope its a good Halloween Eve for everyone......

SPOOKS

There's a goblin at my window,
A monster by my door.
The pumpkin at my table
Keeps on smiling more and more.
There's a ghost who haunts my bedroom,
A witch whose face is green.
They used to be my family,
Till they dressed for Halloween

  1. THE SENILITY PRAYER...

Grant me the senility to forget

the people I never liked anyway,
the good fortune to run into the ones I do,

and the eyesight to tell the difference.

    Can't argue with that.!!

OK fellas, no more 'Mr Nice Guys' for six months, huh? Let's kick ass, LMAO

I wonder if that picture would scare my grand kids into going home earlier today??? lol

John, about your back pain? I know different meds affect people in different ways, but I swear by taking a 30mg tablet of Codeine and 2 paracetemol for bad pain.
Ask your GP to prescribe those two meds tomorrow...and pronto! (Or we'll all come and get him/her).

  8. WTG John.....My era definitely! lol

Worked with Showaddywaddy loadsa times...and the lads in Mud were mates. They were never away from the North East clubs, and we had the same type of old, battered Ford Transits, lol. I was so sorry to hear that Les the singer had died a few years ago.

  10. Mickey me old China.....I DID have the biggest organ in Jarrow....but Lynn made me down-size!! (well, it did take up half the bedroom) PMSL.

I'd bought it about 20yrs ago and it took 4 guys to carry it up the stairs.

But about two years ago, Lynn said the organ went or she did (mind you that was a tough decision for me)...... I couldn't even sell it for £1......sooo.......
I spent all afternoon unscrewing it and then dumped it at the local civic amenities site.

Me poor ole heart was broken...but the story of the tragic end to my big organ kept Capn Phil ticked for the best part of a month!!!

  15. John,I know it is a bit late now, but George's " codein + paracetamol" is the same as "solpadol", it just means 2 pills instead of 1.

George and his organ. George did you watch country file tonight. Apparently it is the mating season for sheep. To find the right ram the farmer has to check his bits! Thought I would leave you with that gem.

    I think he's better.on what i see today.....

  20. Can't compare John. Remember Mackay being more defensive. Hard as nails tho.

  21. Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp believes Scott Parker's display in the win over Queens Park Rangers was reminiscent of former Spurs great Dave Mackay.BBC Sport· 2 hours ago....unquote

I find it hard to............perhaps he was trying to please someone or sumthink....
    No innuendo meant.........pmsl

Looked at the replay smorning Michael (can't sleep to well again),& defo Parker playing a more defensive role to his West Ham days..Modric freed up to feed the attack.....Perhaps thats why 'arry commented...Anyways 'man of the match' given to S.P.
