Hope its a good Halloween Eve for everyone......
SPOOKS
There's a goblin at my window,
A monster by my door.
The pumpkin at my table
Keeps on smiling more and more.
There's a ghost who haunts my bedroom,
A witch whose face is green.
They used to be my family,
Till they dressed for Halloween
THE SENILITY PRAYER...
ReplyDeleteGrant me the senility to forget
the people I never liked anyway,
the good fortune to run into the ones I do,
and the eyesight to tell the difference.
Can't argue with that.!!
Goooooooood Moaning All.
ReplyDeleteIt's Greenwich MEAN Time, huh? Wow!
OK fellas, no more 'Mr Nice Guys' for six months, huh? Let's kick ass, LMAO
I wonder if that picture would scare my grand kids into going home earlier today??? lol
John, about your back pain? I know different meds affect people in different ways, but I swear by taking a 30mg tablet of Codeine and 2 paracetemol for bad pain.
Ask your GP to prescribe those two meds tomorrow...and pronto! (Or we'll all come and get him/her).
HI George......30 mg of what with the paracetamol......& its a he Doc.!!!.......
ReplyDeleteOi be going fer shore.....as cannot stand ANY pain.......I be no good as a Secret Agent......lol
A BLAST FROM THE PAST
ReplyDelete1973:
Dutch band 'FOCUS' playing 'SYLVIA' on TOTP......
My own band was playing that number every night for a year or more!
The organist is playing the same type of Hammond organ I had (but I hope I never looked as demented as him!!, lol).
That bloody thing weighed a ton...and I wonder why I now have arthritis is the neck and shoulders??? Duh!
What a year......and the FA Cup final............SUNDERLAND 1 - LEEDS 0
Happy DAZE!!
John? 30mg tablets of CODEINE. (oh shit..I didn't put the name of them in my eariler post, did I?
ReplyDeleteTake ONE with two paracetemol when the pain is bad.
One side effect though....you become an even dozier old fart than you were before (as you may have noticed by my errors in posts!)
PMSL here. (Where's those piddle pads??) LMAO
Now, are you SURE you all altered your clocks last night.
ReplyDeleteHere's some for all of us ASBO old buggers:
AND..One for the ladies (and Bev) : )~
Hey George my fav band was Showaddywaddy, before they got famous......They was always down at the nightclub i frequented & went down a storm...Another up & coming band that came often a bit earlier was 'Mud' ....
ReplyDeleteSort of record '73 vintage would be for me 'Mott the Hoople'.....Roll away the stone....fun times & that backing group 'thunderthighs' "lalalallalala push push"...& those drum sticks...the size of them.....pmsl.!!!
http://youtu.be/_CFUuN__7tE
WTG John.....My era definitely! lol
ReplyDeleteWorked with Showaddywaddy loadsa times...and the lads in Mud were mates. They were never away from the North East clubs, and we had the same type of old, battered Ford Transits, lol. I was so sorry to hear that Les the singer had died a few years ago.
Toooo young!
Georgie boy braggin about his organ again.
ReplyDeleteSome blokes never give up dreamin!!
Mickey me old China.....I DID have the biggest organ in Jarrow....but Lynn made me down-size!! (well, it did take up half the bedroom) PMSL.
ReplyDeleteI'd bought it about 20yrs ago and it took 4 guys to carry it up the stairs.
But about two years ago, Lynn said the organ went or she did (mind you that was a tough decision for me)...... I couldn't even sell it for £1......sooo.......
I spent all afternoon unscrewing it and then dumped it at the local civic amenities site.
Me poor ole heart was broken...but the story of the tragic end to my big organ kept Capn Phil ticked for the best part of a month!!!
OMG!
ReplyDeleteHere I am daydreaming......and I almost missed a newsflash (Mick's post at the end of 'Happy Beaver Day').
He says La Fleece was stumped?
WHO DID IT?
WHO STUMPED LIL'DUCK?????????
WAS SHE AWAKE?
DOES SHE KNOW ABOUT THIS?
ruddy sacrilege George. Could it do justice to Procul's "Whiter Shade"?
ReplyDeleteDunno who George and I'll bet she won't admit to it!
ReplyDeleteMy bond
ReplyDeleteis my word.....lol
COYS
Spurs-3 QPR -1
What a great game.....Spurs played terrific stuff........Scott.Parker (escapes me what club he came from) was all over the field.... Gareth Bale red hot...
John,I know it is a bit late now, but George's " codein + paracetamol" is the same as "solpadol", it just means 2 pills instead of 1.
ReplyDeleteOk guys you lot are on big trouble and as for Ian, he'll be singing soprano for a very long time. YOu cheeky sods especially George. I have just seen yesterdays post from my old man! Revenge is being planned for you lot.
ReplyDeleteDId Spurs play today!!
George and his organ. George did you watch country file tonight. Apparently it is the mating season for sheep. To find the right ram the farmer has to check his bits! Thought I would leave you with that gem.
Off to deal with my old man!!!!
b
Evening Bollockeers. Tough day. Hope all is okay with you xx
ReplyDeleteBoggoff John- ya know he learnt his trade at God's academy
ReplyDelete'ARRY has a good eye...He's even comparing him with the great Dave Mackay
ReplyDeleteI think he's better.on what i see today.....
Can't compare John. Remember Mackay being more defensive. Hard as nails tho.
ReplyDeleteTottenham boss Harry Redknapp believes Scott Parker's display in the win over Queens Park Rangers was reminiscent of former Spurs great Dave Mackay.BBC Sport· 2 hours ago....unquote
ReplyDeleteI find it hard to............perhaps he was trying to please someone or sumthink....
No innuendo meant.........pmsl
Looked at the replay smorning Michael (can't sleep to well again),& defo Parker playing a more defensive role to his West Ham days..Modric freed up to feed the attack.....Perhaps thats why 'arry commented...Anyways 'man of the match' given to S.P.
Set myself up for that one - well done John, Georgie'll be proud of the tone-lowering LMAO
ReplyDeleteI'll stick to talking bollix in future!!! More me barra LOL
