    Well, what can I say.

    Never in the field of human celebrations has so much been owed to so few.

    Your kind wishes and humourous asides have given me much to think about. Who to have the hitman visit first for starters?

    I'm sorry I can't respond in kind with graphic examples of my sense of humour but as I'm a thick old git I've still not worked out how to attach images to my posts here.

    One day, one day!

    As for my day thus far, a visit to Tescos and Aldi to be later followed by a celebratory scoff of Old El Paso Fajitas, a bottle of Bateman's Combined Harvest Ale and the whole day rounded off nicely by a good time in bed listening to a book at bedtime on Radio 4.

    I really know how to live life in the fast lane!
