Tuesday breeze.

Good Morning/Evening Tuesday Peeps,,,breezy and mild up ere to to start the day..oh and here comes the rain

Hope the weather picks up for firework night we're off to a party where no doubt we will stand around with frozen lugs,admirning the bonfire and uttering the usual Ooohs and Ahs(Shaddup George) for the fireworks whilst noshing on a baked spud and a banger or three(Can't wait! LOL)

An old retired sailor puts on his old uniform and heads for the docks once more, for old times sake.

He engages a prostitute and takes her up to a room.  He's soon going at it as well as he can for a guy his age, but needing some reassurance, he asks, 'How am I doing??

' The prostitute replies, 'Well, old sailor, you're doing about three knots  ' 'Three knots?' he asks. 'What's that supposed to mean??' She says, 'You're knot hard, you're knot in, and you're knot getting your money back

    Good Moaning Good Peeps,

    NOT bright, breezy and mild further north of Phil this morning.
    This was South Shields an hour ago:



    And speaking of South Shields, that episode with Phil and one of the 'working girls' is legendary here.
    A local artist, Bob Olley, even did a cartoon entitled 'Three Knot Phil' on the wall of the Westoe netty (now dismantled and rebuilt at Beamish Museum.

    Oh where would we all be without our morning dig at the old matelot, LMAO.
