Tuesday Titter (ye not)

Frankie Howerd quotes.....

  • Very clever, all those boys are, very clever boys. I think they should turn professional. They tell me now they’ve learned to put on make-up. Soon they’re going to use it on the stage!
  • I was on a cycle rally and we were passing Chequers – I thought, I’ll nip in. I’m sorry – I told him. I was very forthright, stupid to be anything else. I said, “Harold, be careful”, I said, “Harold, don’t rush into this, I beg you.” I don’t think he got the message. Well, it’s very difficult when you’re shouting through a letter box!
  • Oooh noo, please, it’s wicked to mock the afflicted! Well it might be one of your own! Don’t laugh at her, she might want paying - I told her this was an audition! She’s known to me as Madam Vera Roper, but she’s known to everyone else as The English Open!
  • WELL & TRUELY BACK FROM OUR HOLS NOW, & THOUGH PLEASED TO BE HOME MISS THE LOVELY WEATHER.......PUT ON WEIGHT AS WELL.....HUH..!!
  • JUST TO WISH YOU ALL A BELATED WONDERFUL NEW YEAR.....HAVE A GREAT DAY TOO......
  • Just off to have a stomach injection (degarelix)....ouch..!!?

    1. WELCOME BACK JOHN!!

Great to have you in the Asylum again, lol.

We need to see photos...loads of them. How about making an album on here?

Well, hospital for me today too. Big decision time when I meet up with my onco. PSA has been very naughty since I quit the Casodex.

Here's a belated Happy New Year card from Chris. It reminds me of someone I know......

    4. Lynne, I won't be seeing any nurses....just my good old friendly, podgy, Middlesborough supporting oncologist. Sad...innit? lol

That message about Essex reminded me of the last time Elise drove through that county last winter:

    5. Thank you so much George for posting the above item on the Essex disaster.

I've cut and pasted it to a document I'll keep in my archive for future use.

What I just love about Word documents is how easy it is to change one word for another in a document with the simple click of a mouse.

Delete Essex, replace with Jarrow was so easy!
