good morning, from a sick lil' Duck AGAIN !!! George xx my sympathies xx my 2 germ laden little leprechauns delight in sharing their misery too.....worse, as that I am facing the weekend at work AND MONDAY AAARRRGGGHHH !!!!! helpful suggestions please Guys xx
Thats the worse of having little ones they bring nasties home from school / playgroup, we used to get similar nasties from the bus passengers. You have our simpathy. xxxxx
Upset & shocked by the passing of Colin Coote (colj uk) on PCC.....Met Colin twice at the Andy Ripley Memorial,& our get together at The Mill....a very chatty warm guy...........R.I.P. my friend
Okay, feeling very rough, grotty, snotty and terrible. News about Col has knocked me for 6 too.....bloody freezing here...will happily receive all and any sympathy going today.... ! xx
I think a lot of Col's problems stemmed from his Diabetes. Those of you that are Insulin Dependent, know what I am talking about. I dare say this, coupled with the chemo was just one step too far, and his body just couldn't cope any more. Still, terrible news, especially when he was getting back in control of other aspects of his life. There is a photo of me, Dad and Col chatting at MOS last year....who knew then that they would both be gone now ? Rest easy Guys xx
Yes, a sad sad day..........i looked back at those pics earlier to,taken at MOS......Its been a horrid period since,& this year hasn't started well either.............I'm at a lost what else to say.!!!!?
My heart and thoughts are with you too. I can't believe how quickly time has passed. I remember well the great shock we all had when Bob passed on. You've been part of our group for so very many years and we love it when you pop in to see us. May you enjoy peace and comfort always.

ReplyDeleteG'd afternoon good peeps.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's very sad about Colin. I've been out ths morning, so thank you for texting me the news, Elise.
When I got on here I had an email from Allister with the details. Kidney failure.
We met on quite a few occasions, and I know he was very much into playing music on his electronic keyboards.
Sleep well now Colin, RIP.
I met Colin a few times.
ReplyDeleteEccentric to say the least but one of us!
Didn't know he was so ill!
Rest easy Colin
Mike & Kath xx

Awwww xxx thanks John xxx I am doing my best here xx
ReplyDeleteAlthough Colin never did join this site, he was without doubt one of 'the gang' and attended most of the winter and summer functions - a real regular.
ReplyDeleteI'll be posting his memory on our Memorial section later.
Here's Col in much happier days:
The Mill On the Soar, Sept 2010
