ReplyDeleteDog walk & dump, then onto our Retirees xmas lunch.....Pick up Val enroute, from work, then meet with old colleagues from the Water Company i worked for before my early retirement, which will be great.....Likewise best wishes to Elise,& for all have a good, no great day too....
Morning All, Thanks for the good wishes, am thinking the Onco will have a little bit of a headache today....Mark [spurspark] did advise me NOT to hit him, seeing as its the season of goodwill...will take that under advisement... !!
ReplyDeleteHave a good one Dudes, will sign in later, once I can guarantee Onco is in no life threatening condition !! LMAO !!
Quack !
xx
Brilliant joke to start the day, Capn Phil. Enjoy your day of rest - you deserve it after your 'orrible 'ospital week last week.
ReplyDeleteBut don't get too cosy with ideas of a lull in the harsh winter. You're gonna need all your energy and your new snow shovel.
It's about to start all over again here on Thursday. Can I CUSS???? lol
Have a good party John. Behave yourself at this one...no disappearing for 15 mins at a time with a barmaid (as you did in London)....and with a different one every time! : )~
Elise, I hope you're relishing the thought of combat with the Onco. Outsmart the bugger...you can do it!
All of us here have every faith in you.
We are waiting to read the full story. I'd say Good Luck...but you don't need it. You'll get your point over, and he won't know what's hit him till the cute blonde has left the building! LMAO
I wonder what airline Elise used?
ReplyDelete(This from Bill in Thailand)
A guy is sitting in the bar in departures at Heathrow. A beautiful woman
walks in and sits down at the table next to him.
He decides because she's got a uniform on, she's probably an off duty
flight attendant.
So he decides to have a go at picking her up by identifying the airline
she flies for thereby impressing her greatly.
He leans across to her and says the Delta Airlines motto: " We love to
fly and it shows ".
The woman looks at him blankly.
He sits back and thinks up another line.
He leans forward again and delivers the Air France motto: "Winning the
hearts of the world".
Again she just stares at him with a slightly puzzled look on her face.
Undeterred, he tries again, this time saying the Malaysian Airlines
motto: "Going beyond expectations".
The woman looks at him sternly and says; " What the fuck do you want ?"
"Ah!" he says, sitting back with a smile on his face, " Ryanair "
Ryan-Scare is right Dude...that's the winning attitude on it these days !
ReplyDeleteBack from Onco - Before you all ask YES I left him in good health and walking without the aid of crutches or other external support ! [Just !]
Dad to start ""Tax- Juice" in New Year - he is gutted. Managed to strong-arm Onco to stop Casodex [PSA shooting up] and start dad on steroids [aka Allister] and Morphine for emergency use while with me in Eire. So I see that as a result. Mentally Dad very low, even though I have tried explaining everything, he has tuned me out now.
Bleeped CNS and had her doing what I wanted within 5 minutes, so another result there.
All in all well worth the trip to get this sorted, and might make life a bit easier for me now as well.
Flying back tomorrow, so fingers crossed I make it home in one piece !
Later
x
Glad of a result Elise,& do hope things get much easier for you......Head spinning a bit, since a very good Xmas meal with old friends/colleagues,with too much wine, but enjoyed it muchly......George, the service staff were eye catchingly attractive.....but on my best behaviour mate, but won't be at Leicester.... huh...bring it on..!!! can't wait.....can we have a trial run, by any chance.?
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you got a result Elise. We never doubted you for a second. ; )~
ReplyDeletePlease have a safe journey home and relax (if that's possible!) now.
John, I'm hoping Elise will be able to join us at Leicester in June.....but if you're gonna be naughty, I'd better advise she brings her 'better half' as chaperone, lol.
