Thank you all.

George sent me the generous donations you guys made towards the YANA costs - that was a few beers that weren't drunk!
As I told George, there is enough in the Yana kitty now to look at self-publishing the Strange PLace booklet in proper book form.
I intend having the book in two sections - the one giving the basic informaiton in the present booklet; the other setting out how and why I took the path I did when I was diagnosed in 1996. Of course all I have to do now is to w rite the book!!

Anyway, thanks again to all who contributed. Sorry I won't be there in June next year. The pics show a pretty good time being had by all

  1. Cheers Terry,

We'll drink to that. Now get yourself sat down at that keyboard and start typing.
2011 is your 15th 'PCa Anniversary' so you have a deadline to meet!

  4. Hi Sarah,

It was great meeting you at last in Leicester.

This Skegness meet-up is nothing to do with our site, but is something arranged by 'Denden' (Ross Fenton) on the PCC site.

Actually, I would love to attend, but don't know yet whether or not I can.

I'll be seeing if it's a possibility, and will be in touch.

  5. Hi Terry,
Glad our contributions have helped and you are now intending publishing your book in proper book form. I`m sure it will be like a `bible` for many PCa patients. I know I found it very helpful when I was hit with the dreaded diagnosis in Feb this year.
Yes! We had a great time at Leicester and it was nice to meet up with the lads for the first time. It`s pity you wont be there next year but I can assure you George will mention you and we`ll all drink a toast to you!
    Best Wishes
