Monday again

Good Morning Dear Friends

After another sad day, we have to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down, and start all over again.

I'll not deny it...Keith's passing has hit me particularly hard.

We go back a long long way, and my heart is breaking for Anita.

He was a brave, brave guy who would never give up, never lost hope and lived life to the full.

We salute him - and Anita....a lovely lady with as big a heart as Keith's.

It's up to all of us to carry on in the same spirit.

BOLLOCKS TO PCa!!!

  2. As you say, George, life goes on, BUT it doesn't get any easier though does it.

I think we raised about £1200 to share between PCC and Noel Holmes Memorial Hospital, Jamaica (Noel Holmes died of PCa, and the hospital was named after him because of his fundraising)

Watch out for a 10 year old singer with a fantastic voice, Lydia Singer.

I didn't see much mischief on Saturdays blog, unless Bev has been painting Ian !!!!

  3. Hi Chris,

That's a fabulous amount of cash raised. Well done, all of you!

Yes, Bev was busy painting Ian on Saturday. I'm told it's a masterpiece....a replica of a famous Northumbrian lighthouse a few mles up the coast from me.

Of course I won't believe it till we see a photo!!

  5. Nah, if they had swung round the pole on the platform they would soon be thrown off, literally with my driving !!

Still waiting for the exact amount, I only added up what was taken in the raffle and bums on seats + food & drink.( not bar )

Latest email from the organiser says, £2000 taken.

  6. George, surely you meant to post

  7. Well, Ian, I hope that spike at the top is detachable!!!

Speaking of lighthouses, when I had those 37 RT blasts back in 2005 there was a really handy side effect.

My willy glowed in the dark, and that made all those night time peeing trips so much easier to navigate, lol.
