  1. We have seen the sun ! now the rain is lashing down again !!
Morning John. Good morning all, afternoon Terry.
The reason I think of George when it is blowing gales is because the weather map always puts "wind" near his bit of coast !!
    What did Sunderland do ?

As John says, "be gentle", Bev, don't stick things where they shouldn't be !!

  3. John, I will be sulking for a few days no doubt!!

But not half way through the season yet!!
West Brom still in with a chance of winning the Premiership!!

Lovely morning here in the Midlands.
    Warm, sunny but windy.

Got some cactus from the garden center yesterday.
May put them in the window later.
    That should annoy the neighbours!

  5. Morning All.

Geeeez, what a night. Never had wind as bad as that! (SHADDUP....EVERYONE!!) lol.

Lil' Duck arrived in Oxford safely yesterday tea-time, and I hope she's still under her eiderdown right now.

What's all this football talk? Yesterday was a disaster.

Never, in over 100 years has the weather affected a Sunderland game so badly.

At 3pm Wigan won the toss and played with an 80mph wind behind them.
After half time, at 4pm, the wind suddenly worsened, changed direction completely, and poor old Sunderland had to endure ANOTHER 45 mins playing into gusts reaching 100mph.

That's our story here.....and we're sticking to it!! lol

  12. Bev, if you are talking about cup-cakes, make several cuts down round one end and bend over slightly so they meet in the centre, then round the top off. It is similar to making xmas crackers when you tie each end to make the neck.
    Hope that helps.
    Chris. xx

  13. Well could have done with a Liverpool win today v Man C,but guess a draw will suffice...
Bit of a shocker though that ex footballer Gary Speed was found dead this morning, only 42,in very tragic circumstances......He was currently doing great work as a successful Wales Coach........R.I.P.

That time of the year........ jingle bells..!!!!!!
