Quiet Sunday

Good Morning Friends

It's always difficult to post after such a sad day as yesterday, and this year has brought us too many such days.

Our thoughts are with Elise, her mom Elsie and the family and we wish them peace and comfort.

A lot of us met Ian at The Mill in June and enjoyed some banter with him.

My abiding, fond memory is of the Saturday night, and he and I searching frantically for Elise for help in stopping her mom singing with the 'Noisy Crew' (Barry Topgun & co) and get into the car to head for the hotel. We all had such a tremendous night.

Rest well now Ian.....you fought bravely, and we'll carry on the battle, never forgetting  you and all our fellow fighters now together and having fun in that happy lounge upstairs.

  1. VERY WELL PUT, George.
I didn't know what to put this morning when I put puter on before Church, we said our prayers for all of you, especially our dear ELISE, her mum and sister at this time. [my sister has added Elise to her healing and prayer list].

Thanks again for the above, George.

  3. Elise is at Heathrow now and should be back in her own house by 8.30 tonight.
She asked me to thank everybody for all the much needed support...and sheer kindness you've all shown to her and her family.

    Safe journey Elise xxx
