Good morning all

By sheer coincidence, it was 11.11am when I started this post

An important time to remember all those who lost their lives, and those who are still fighting in these terrible war zones.

I think there'll be quite a few of us who have family in the services.

My own grandaughter is a soldier...

and I pray daily that she isn't sent into conflict.

I spoke to Elise last night, and she thanks everyone for their kind words and support.

She has managed to get an earlier fight (1pm) today and should be with her dad by 4pm.

I'll keep everyone updated as and when I hear any news.

  1. Good morning all, morning George.

My sister emailed yesterday saying that between 1900 and 1999 if you add up all the seconds there has only been 48 hours of peace in the world !!!!!!!

Thanks in advance for going to keep us posted about Elise.

  2. Elise's flight has been delayed by an hour. She must be tearing her hair out now!

  3. I can imagine her doing her "nurse" stance, and having a right go at them.

  5. Yes, Elise arrived safely and was able to be with her dad immediately.

Last message from her was at 5.30 at his bedside. He's sedated now.
