Windy Saturday

Poor old George.

Gales and high winds hitting the North East and no "real shutters" to protect his windows.

Never mind, he'll be blown away with my heartfelt concern over his well being, not.

God forbid the windows to do blow in, as with all that wind whistling through the house, he'll never get his fags to light!

Think it over, lads.

Lovely day down here - warm sunshine - not too hot, not too cold, just right!

Hope all's well on the handbag front, George.

Incidentally, knowing nothing about mushrooms - is it sheep's poo that makes them so tasty??

I think this is the first time ever cameras at Stourbridge FC.

Stourbridge (Southern League) played Plymouth (Division 2) in the FA Cup.

What a result   Stourbridge 2  Plymouth 0

Will this ever happen again?

Well done 'The Glassboys'.

Hoping Wednesday is better for some

Bev, hope you are feeling a bit more like yourself today.

George, hope Katrina's things are all sorted out now.

Enjoy your day good people.

You are all in our thoughts.  XXXX

Tuesday troubles, Grrrrr.

Good Morning Good Peeps

Just a quickie, 'cos I've got a minor disaster to deal with today. Yesterday some thieving scumbag stole Katrina's bag.

Her contract phone, purse, cash, bank card, buss pass, metro pass, cinema card have gone.

To any of us this would be terrible, but to Kat, with her condition, it's a real and upsetting major disaster.

Yesterday was spent coping with her and all the phone calls that had to be made.

Today, we have the police coming, and of course I have all those missing items to replace. Lots and lots to do, and many trips to make.

It will all be done - but if I still have hair when we meet in London on 7th Dec, then it'll be a miracle.

So, can I ask you all....please be extra mischievous today so I can get back on here and have some good 'PMSL' time later!!

Monday Monday...

Morning Bollockeers

Monday morning.....gray and dull here in The Rebel County. Unbelievable amounts of rain this weekend. Flood barriers swung into action at the river in town, and I was nearly marooned on the opposite side from work. However, levels dropped, and I was able to get into work....dammit !

What's the plan for today then ? I have the hairdresser here at 10am, apart from that, I am not doing a lot.

Have a good Monday people, and remember, only about 34 days to Christmas !

Quack Quack xx

Dorset,

Hi George,

Below is the link to my Movember appeal. I have sent it to all of my friends down here but wonder if you would be kind enough to forward it on to the members of bollocks to Pca.

http://uk.movember.com/mospace/2675344/

I already have over £250 in cash from the guys here at the Gunnery School which I will add onto the Movember site at the end of the month when by then I will get hold of a few more.

With our recent tragic losses every penny is needed to beat this bloody disease.

Many thanks my friends

Kind Regards Barry

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEITH

Monday 14th November

And...we're late, we're late

for a very important date

Hang on a mo...

Searching desperately for

Keith's perfect card!

Thank You My Dear Friends

I cannot put into words the last few days.

All I can say is that Dad is now free from this awful, cruel disease that has changed all our lives so completely since he was diagnosed 23 December 2009. He fought his battle well, and all his girls were able to be there in time to say goodbye.

As upset as I am, and as heartbroken, I know a sense of peace that he is no longer suffering.

We expect the funeral to be next week. I imagine a number of his flying buddies will want to make it over, they are all over the world. Once I have details, I will post on here for you.

Dad was a complete 'biker' all his life. We have arranged for the local Harley Davidson Owners Group [HOGs] that he was a member of, to come to the funeral, and they will precede him in procession to his final resting place. We will see him off in style. I am certain he wanted to be buried with his beloved Softail Harley, which still remains at home. However, I really do not think they have coffins shaped like that ! It was always his dream to have one last ride.

I have absolutely no doubt at all, that Big Guy was waiting for him with a decent Malt. They will have a lot of stories to laugh over, and, hopefully, look down on us all every now and again.

May both our beloved Captains rest in peace now.

Mam's address is the following, if anyone wishes to write to her, I am certain she would appreciate it.

Elsie Cooper
5 Baronshurst Drive
Chalgrove
Oxfordshire
OX44 7TE

I cannot thank you all enough, words fail me at the moment my dear, dear friends.

Lots of love to you all

Quiet Sunday

Good Morning Friends

It's always difficult to post after such a sad day as yesterday, and this year has brought us too many such days.

Our thoughts are with Elise, her mom Elsie and the family and we wish them peace and comfort.

A lot of us met Ian at The Mill in June and enjoyed some banter with him.

My abiding, fond memory is of the Saturday night, and he and I searching frantically for Elise for help in stopping her mom singing with the 'Noisy Crew' (Barry Topgun & co) and get into the car to head for the hotel. We all had such a tremendous night.

Rest well now Ian.....you fought bravely, and we'll carry on the battle, never forgetting  you and all our fellow fighters now together and having fun in that happy lounge upstairs.
