B2PCa Christmas Do!!

Hi everyone,

The Bollocks-to-PCa Christmas lunch and natter is all arranged.
This year it will be in the GLORIOUS city of Birmingham on Thursday 17th December 2009
Meet at about 12noon at:-
The Old Orleans Restaurant & Bar.
80, Broad Street,
Birmingham.

Several menu's available including a Christmas lunch.

This venue is about 15 minutes easy walk from Birmingham New Street Station or Birmingham Snow Hill Station.
Or a short taxi ride (about £5.00).
There is also plenty of 'pay for' car parking in the area.

As this do is near to Christmas we need to give them an idea of numbers ASAP.

    BIRMINGHAM IS TOO SCARY A PLACE TO TRAVEL TO ON MY OWN!!!

    count me in please. Funnily enough I drovepast the New Orleans bar yesterday.
    Nette made me go to a Cliff and the Shadows concert Sunday night in Brum at the NIA. I shouted, I screamed, I stamped my feet but she said I could not get out of it.
    Actually the Shads were brilliant, bit wrinkly but at nearly 70 Hank still had that special guitar sound that could only be him.
    We stayed at a "hotel" called City Nites which gets you a double roomed apartment with kitchen etc for £134 and secure parking. Thinking of doing it again for the bash. Nette can go shopping. If any one wants to share the cost for the other room in the apartment please shout. There was a really good christmas market just down the road in the bullring area last year.

    Keith, Looking forward to seeing you again.
    Amazing, Cliff and the Shadows still so popular, they could have filled the NIA for months!!!
    Could not get into a decent local restaurant over the last few days for groups of lady on the way to see them.

    The 'German' market is planned to be in Birmingham again this year and maybe we all try their brews whilst on the way back to the railway station (hic)!!

    I lkie the bit about old ladies, I remember how much trouble I got in to when dropping nette off at a previous Cliff concert.
    She asked if I knew the way to which I replied no problem I will just follow the HRT smell.
    Ouch

    Same again this week when we saw someone selling programs, I said I could bring all my unused incontinence pads and sell them. Ouch again.

    Hi all,

    If you want to join us for the B2PCa Birmingham bash but do not want lunch, there is a large bar area and I am sure we will all eventually get together.
