  4. Mornin' All, and THANK YOU CHRIS for the first post.

It's great that your'e taking turns to get that first post in...Terry yesterday (with a post and picture that nearly knocked me off my chair till I scrolled through it!!) lol and Chris in Sunny blustery Bedfordshire.

I really appreciate these opening first posts, as these past few weeks have been very difficult, both for me and for Elise who's the brilliant admin (and moral boosting) support for Phil and me.

Janet, it's your turn tomorrow! No need for fancy cartoons or photos, just a cheery Hello from a REALLY sunny Australia will be perfect.

Phil is having a very hard time, and his family are reeling.
One day he is critical, and the next he rallies; It's such a damn, heartbreaking see-saw.

As I write this, Hilary and the girls are having to dash to hospital again after being told he was once again struggling.
He's been taken for an x-ray, and by the time they reach the hospital they should know the results.

I'll keep you all posted, but the message remain the same...Never ever give up hope. He just loves proving the doctors wrong.

  9. Evening all xx Thanks to Chris for opening the shop this morning xx I am at work now for the next few days, so that was one job that I could cross off my list this morning. I also woke up with a rotten head cold, thamnks to my son. However, George thinks I sound sexy, so, hey ho !

I have heard nothing more about Phil since George's earlier post. I am really hoping that no news is good news. We are all drained from the highs and lows of the last couple of weeks. I can only imagine what Hilary and the girls are feeling. I have so many people praying for Phil, even an on line friend whose sister lives in Greece. Every day she lights a candle for Phil, and her, and the Greek ladies all pray for him. Bev has also set up a prayer circle, and has many, many people praying every hour on the hour. Dads knees are almost worn to the bone, with all his prayers for Phil, and the many many other people, friends, Nuns, Priest and others here that I have all asked to pray for Big Guy xx

I promise either George or myself will keep you all updated, as and when we hear anything further xx

  10. Still nothing at 8.30pm, but it's often very late when Hilary rings me.

As has been said..... NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS we hope.

Chris asked me to post this using my 'dark skills'. Only too happy to oblige:

We are not afraid of tomorrow for we have seen yesterday and we love today.

Noah's Ark : Everything we need to know, we can learn from Noah's Ark .

    ONE: Don't miss the boat.

TWO: Remember that we are all in the same boat!

THREE: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.

FOUR: Stay fit. When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.

FIVE: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.

SIX: Build your future on high ground.

SEVEN: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.

EIGHT: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.

NINE: When you're stressed, float awhile.

TEN: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.

ELEVEN: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.

Most people walk in and out of your life.................................but FRIENDS leave footprints in your heart.
