The good news is that Phil is determined to get out of his hospital bed today

Hilary will be sooo pleased when she has him back home in his favourite armchair!

    I've given up on trying to get an answer on any of their phone lines - (the number to contact whatever programme is on air is 0844 800 5533)

    At least by using the webpage you can send in an email requesting a song.

    More info on that damn radio station:

    I spoke to their HQ and it seems the best wayto get a request played is to text (details on the link):

    OR..email the presenters personally when a show is on air.
    As the email address.....use the presenter's first name, then dot, then second name....then... @smoothradio.co.uk

    I try the e.mail link or text......listened a bit to the programme earlier & some good tunes.....

    HEY....THE EMAIL TO KID JENSEN WORKED FOR ME.

    I asked for Albatross by Fleetwood Mac, but he played 'Taking It Easy' by the Eagles (one of Phil's favourite bands).

    Phil texted me immediately after the song and typed (quote) "TAKING IT EASY??? FFS!!! ROFLMBO".

    He loved it.

    Evening all xx Long day at work today, but [and yes George, its still a small one :-)] I am not back to work until the weekend now. Thanks for the additional info about the radio stuff. Was going round in circles last night, having all sorts of problems trying to even SEND an email !! FFS !!

    Just a thought is it o.k to give Phils name out & name of hospital & thats he is recovering to Smoothradio....Its just that Val mentioned about confidentiality & all that.??......She's been on a course..!!!!!!!!!!!!?
