9/11

9/11

The pictures are iconic.

This was an event of mass destruction that was seen live across the world. Never before had such a tragedy unfolded before all of mankind.

We all know exactly where we were on that day 10 years ago, and exactly what we were doing.

What we didn't know, was who or where was next. It was a frightening time for us all, not just America.

It is only right that the world pays its respects. It is all we can do.

  6. G'd afternoon All,

Yep, Phil asked me to send his old navy telescope over so that he can see his new car from the ward.

This is it, and it's been sitting in his drive, untouched, since 1st Sept.

If ever a guy was determined to get outta that hospital, it's the Capn.

Hilary say he listens to Smooth Radio all day (and night) when he's awake, and wondered if we could phone in for a song request for him.
Today is no good...schedule isn't suitable - AND his batteries are dead (getting new ones later today), As from tomorrow things will be running 'smoothly' (pardon the pun)
Here's the number for the station - please mention that he's on Teesside, and in the James Cook Hospital.
