The following link is from the Mojacar Cancer Support Site that Anita [oakesani] belongs to in Spain.
She has added Phil onto the remembrance wall, after discussing this with myself and George. We both felt this was only right and fitting for such a wonderful friend to be remembered forever in this way.
I would urge you all to look at this tribute that Anita wrote. It is absolutely beautiful, and so true of our beloved Captain.
Rest in peace Big Guy xx You will ALWAYS be remembered by us all xx

A very fine tribute,& such true words regards how I think Phil would like to be remembered.....R.I.P
ReplyDeleteThat was indeed a lovely tribute and memorial. I don't know if this piece (which I stole from another tribute site) that follows will help or hinder the family in their grief, but to me, it seems such a wonderful view.
ReplyDeleteDo not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
Terry xx I have heard that one before, and was actually looking for it on line xx thank you xx Beautiful xx
ReplyDeleteAnita has done yet another wonderful page on that site. She's a gem xxxx
