  1. Sorry it's taken so long but I'm being a bit dense with figuring out Multiply. I seem to be getting e-mails with all the posts but can't seem to reply to them! George you offered to send me a tutorial - please can you? Also how do I make this text look more interesting - can't see how to customise?
Anyway We're both OK - had terrible computer and online problems, since Xmas, really, with only one brief respite in the middle. We finally have a working computer and have been able to get a Satellite Broadband package, which although is more expensive and has a 2 Gig cap - is still so much better than Dial - Up. Means we can see the now 3 Granddaughters on Skype - 2 in New Zealand and one in the USA. When I get back into how to use this I'll post some pictures.

We still have all the animals and Maisie continues to rule the roost. Rod has been a busy Cockeral and we have had nine new babies in the past few months. The youngest one hatched 5 days after her 2 sisters(hopefully sisters) and was rejected by the Mum so we have been rearing her in the front bedroom and putting her outside in the daytime, in a small run David has made for her. We called her Annie (orphan Annie). We taught her to peck and dig/scratch using our fingers, but the trouble is that she now thinks our hands are her MUM! She is now 5 weeks old and we keep trying to take her out and introduce her to the other chickens, but although they would probably get used to her and have taken some interest, she just runs away and follows us around. She spent a very happy half hour the other day walking around the garden perched on David's shoulder! Methinks we may just have made another rod for our own backs here! So watch this space for progress reports on "FREE ANNIE"

Healthwise, David is doing ok. When he went to the Consultant in March, he was concerned as David's PSA had doubled over 6 months from 0.37 to 0.78 ,still seems pretty low to me, but I guess it was the doubling that triggered his concern. Anyway he took him off Casodex and started him on "Anandron", which I'm pretty sure is not available in the UK. He still has Z|oladex. After 3 months his PSA had gone back to 0.31. Read up on Anandron ( Nilutamide) and it's used a lot in the US - often after Chemo and seems to have a success rate of 2 months to 28 months so we're hoping for the 28 of course. I don't know why it's not used in the UK as the price is slightly less than Casodex. We know the prices of the drugs as they are on the back of the box., which I don't remember they were in England - The Anandron is 128 Euros and Casodex was about 140 Euros.

Well must get this posted - will sort myself out on this. Hope all are ok

    Luv'n Hugs
    Sue & David xxxx
