Great news, Callum is awake and breathing unaided. He's mildly sedated rather than the 2 or 3 day induced sleep they had planned.
His first words on waking this morning..."I want a blue balloon" lol.
I'll let you know more later when I hear. But so far ....it's INCREDIBLE. What a fantastic surgeon that Italian guy (Massimo Griselli) is!
I'm sending this in a hurry because my friggin internet is getting cut off every 5 mins or so!
That damn buliding work on the new Tyne Tunnel.
(OH SHIT. I promised I wouldn't moan again).
