  1. Hi folks,

Still plagued by 'puter probs. I can only access a site for a minute or so then I get 'HOST SERVICES FOR WINDOWS STOPPED WORKING'.
Whatever bug it is has beaten McAfee and Windows defender,

Gonna try one more program Elise suggested and if no luck there then it's off to the pc store.

    BOLLOCKS!

  2. George,

So your bug has them beaten and you need someone to 'clean-up' WINDOWS.

I will send my expert round:-

use this link George, ignore all the donate notices, and keep on down loading. This programme found viruses that slipped under the Mcaffe wire. Good luck xx

  4. When I got back from holiday last Fri I switched all my electrics back on only to find my Internet connection on the wireless router was flashing also the modem was not working and I had a red intermittent signal on the front of my Virgin PLUS box. I phoned Virgin Media
(Indian branch) and the lady proceeded to tell me in Indian/Anglo how to get down on the floor and unplug my modem etc. I said." hang on a
minute!" "I`m no technical wizard I want an engineer to call A.S.A.P. to fix things."....after a long argument and my threat to move to SKY
it was mutually agreed an engineer would call to see me on Mon 8am-12noon . However, I could n`t wait till Mon as I wanted to see the
Liverpool derby Pat and I disconnected all the plugs and wires and put them all back together again and hey presto everything was in
working again!!!!!!.....Sorry George Jarrow is away off my area!!!! By the way the Virgin engineer came today and said everything is
    working perfectly!!!
