What a time for celebrity bad news too. I was really saddened to hear of Farrah Fawcett's passing yesterday, then was shocked when my youngest told me as soon as I woke this morning that Michael Jackson had died, just 50. Geeeeeez!
Multiply has decided to let me post properly again today, so I'll show you this latest photo HOT from Phil's digital camera in Amsterdam - Guess his first port of call was the famous 'Red Light District':
It seems he's having a whale of a time

LOL
Yes was a shame two famous people dying.
ReplyDeleteOne a wrinkly old white woman and the other starred in Charlie's Angels.
Apparently MJ will not be buried, he is being melted down to make plastic toys so the children can paly with him for a change.
The coroner hasn't been able to give a cuase of death he said he didn't know ... wait for it

well what ever your opinion of MJ the aligations were never proved, and you have to think of his children shame on you all and I dont find it in the least bit funny

I'm sorry, Janet.
ReplyDeleteI know it's very dark humour, and not everyone will find it funny. But I guess many, particularly in the entertainment world, in which MJ was a shining star, would certainly try to find humour in such bad news,
I have to tell you, as a career musician, from the age of 14 myself, I consider Michael Jackson to have been a true genius. He has left a lasting legacy in his remarkable, innovative music.
He was incredibly talented and the world has lost a giant talent.
Love,
George

Hi George I think anyone who has just lost a Dad will be a bit sensitive ,I think MJ had such a bad life as a young boy he never grew up and we will never know the Truth,I know people will make jokes but at the moment dont find them funny let him rest in peace

Hello again Janet,
ReplyDeleteYes, I do understand. It took me a long time to get over losing my parents (within 18 months of eachother). You know, this has been a very painful year for us all on the site. Too many good friends have lost their battles, and too many of us have suffered the loss of a loved one.
Well, one thing is for sure - Michael Jackson's music legacy will far outlive any sordid news stories.
He did have a terrible life from a young age - in fact he was never allowed a childhood.
May he now, at last, find perfect peace. God bless him.

George, I agree with everything you say.
ReplyDeleteWill there ever be a greater worldwide superstar?
God Bless Michael, Rest in Peace
