Happy Saturday Bollockeers.
I am a sad Lil' Duck today, as Mom is heading home. Next time I see her will be at Leicester.
Thoughts and prayers continue for Grant. Still no news this morning, so let's all hope that no news is good news.
Sunny day here in The Rebel County, but VERY windy [Morning George xx]
Hope you all have a relaxing Saturday Bollockeers !
Quack !

ReplyDeleteHi Elise,
ReplyDeleteWarm and sunny here in the Midlands. May get into the garden later (with a book)!
Kath at work :-)
Waiting to hear some good news about Grant.
So your moms on her way back home.
Your Scottish origins remind me:-
An Arab Sheik was admitted to Hospital for heart surgery, but prior to the surgery,
The doctors needed to store his blood in case the need arises. As the gentleman had a rare type of blood,
It couldn't be found locally, so, the call went out.
Finally a Scotsman was located who had a similar blood type. The Scot willingly donated his blood for the Arab.
After the surgery, the Arab sent the Scotsman as appreciation for giving his blood, a new BMW, diamonds & US dollars.
A couple of days later, once again, the Arab had to go through a corrective surgery.
His doctor telephoned the Scotsman who was more than happy to donate his blood again.
After the second surgery, the Arab sent the Scotsman a thank-you card & a box of Quality Street chocolates.
The Scotsman was shocked that the Arab did not reciprocate his kind gesture as he had anticipated.
He phoned the Arab & asked him: "I thought you would be generous again,
That you would give me a BMW, diamonds & money... But you only gave me a thank-you card & a box of Quality Street."

To this the Arab replied: "Aye laddie, but I now have Scottish blood in ma veins".
By three minutes Elise......must be the new treatment....lol
ReplyDeleteYep really got everything crossed here for positive news on Grant..
Great joke Mike.......pmsl
Not so Sunny in Cornwall, on and off. Glad you had a nice time with your Mum and looking forward to Leicester xxx
ReplyDeleteSo sad to see that GRANT is in Charring Cross, we WILL do our best to add him to the prayer list and pray lots for HIM and Sandra tomorrow.
ReplyDeletePLEASE get well soon Grant.
Hope you had a great time with Mum, Elise. XXXXxxxx
Chris and Shirley.
PS. Grant and Sandra are added to the "Healers Prayer list"
Hi Guys, how bad are we, its 4.30 and we have only just got up! Off out tonight with my man.
ReplyDeleteLots of prayes for Sandra and Grant.
xx
Okay Guys....I need calming Vibes please.....Boswell has just tipped me over the edge, and I am SO BLOODY ANGRY right now.......
ReplyDeleteJust seen it Elise..xx...You certainly didn't hold back, but you are right for sticking up for all those who have lost fathers, hubbys & friends, who have passed on because of this dreadful disease...
ReplyDeleteI think he is on the wrong site,as he only trawls, compares, & comments on statistics,& seems to have no heart....
If your rant was to have any adverse consequence,I for one,& also sure many many more will back you to the hilt.
Why can't he see it as it is......We need screening to reduce the number of men being first time diagnosed with Advanced PCa & simply then too late for any curative treatment....its not 'rocket science'
Take care my friend.xx
p.s. see thread has now been locked.....grrrrrr....wanted to put my bit in, & agree with highlander to
Time for a glass of red whilst Ian gets ready, he is worse than me!! Tim is out with his girlfriend.
ReplyDeleteIt should be a fun evening.
lol
xxxx
Thanks John - Moderators have now locked the thread and will review in Monday.....let them do their worst xx
ReplyDeleteJust received an email from Mal totally supporting me, and complaining to the moderators about Boswell....will see what happens xx
Time to go out, Ian is now ready. Will be back later.
ReplyDeletexx
errrrr.... Is it me, or have we lost some members George !? xx
ReplyDeleteHave a great evening out Bev |& Ian, & funny that but Val has to wait for me to.!!!!!!.
ReplyDeleteElise..xx......I think moderators will see how provocative his last post was......
Blimey....don't say we will have less contributing on here.!!!?
I've been cleaning up the membership list, Elise. Just a bit housekeeping.
ReplyDeleteNow, back to your earlier message.
I have come to the end of my tether with THE PCC FORUMS.
I find myself absolutely disgusted and disillusioned with the disgraceful goings on there.
That is not the site I was once very active on, and very proud to be part of such a caring set of people.
I'm going to have to say something on those forums. This is all so sickening, deeply saddening - and a MASSIVE INSULT to the great work done on there by our friends over so many years.
In fact..I don't think I've been as angry as this since my last fight with my moron of a urologist a few years ago,
I wonder if this gets posted on the Forums?
ReplyDeleteAnd now I'm off to bed - sick and tired! But don't worry, I'll be back here tomorrow with some totally unsuitable and generally offensive Bollocks postings, lol.
I haven't been to the PCC Forums for a while now - been too busy wiht my site and my travels. Have any of you lot been over on the Healing Well Forum at http://www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=35? That seems to be a busy Forum and most of the people seem pretty rreasonable. I have found over the years that it is amazing how rude and thoughtless folk can be on the Internet. I said to one bloke challenging me rudely about one of my odd views - would you say that to me in a pub? If you did what do you think the consequences would be.
ReplyDeleteElise, I tried to reply earlier, but "windows"locked down, well done for your blog on PCC. xxxxx
ReplyDeleteGeorge, I hope your blog above does some good, its because of him and previous morons, I don't look very often at PCC now, which is such a pity for the newly diagnosed that such clap-trap is allowed to show.
Well said George xx
ReplyDeleteHAS ANYONE HEARD HOW GRANT IS, please ?
ReplyDeleteNo text from Mark, nothing in the email he sent me this morning. Still hoping that no news is good news. Come on Grant xx We are all rooting for you xx Thoughts and prayers are still winging their way to you and Sandra xx
ReplyDeleteGeorge xx Thanks for your Post xx This 'person' has been complained to the moderators on a number of occasions [also by me] but they see nothing inflammatory in his posts :-( I would normally ignore the bastard, and have done on numerous occasions, however, this time, was just too much. How dare he spout this dogma at people that are DYING from PCa when he NEVER will ? Where is his support of members, advice etc ?
I too am sick of it all now. To be honest, I have no reason to stay in the world of PCa anymore. The main reason I was here was because of Dad. Now that Dad is no longer here, maybe it is time for me to bow out xx
I had an email from Mark....no fresh news about Grant.
ReplyDeleteHe certainly has a massive struggle on his hands, and Sandra will be unable to answer emails, as she is overwhelmed with everything that is hitting her now.
She will get in touch with Mark when she is ready, using him as our source of news. I think we fully understand that this is the best thing for her to do.
George,
ReplyDeleteThat is an excellent post on PCc.
Elise,
noli illegitimi carborundum
Rob xx Wish that the ''illegitimi'' would ''carborundum'' elsewhere.... xx
ReplyDeleteElise,
ReplyDeleteNuff Said.
xx
Thanks Mike xx Hope it's a gentle hug, as I still have chest pain :-( xx
ReplyDeleteLUV A DUCK,
ReplyDeleteGently HUG A DUCK, XXXXxxxx
