This will raise a titter on a Tuesday...
I've lost my voice.
Lawd knows what's wrong with me
but the GP took one look at my throat,
said 'OMG' and gave me super-strong antibiotics.
If it's no better by Thursday I have to see the vampire nurse.
Guys? I think we should salute the ladies on our site.
How about these wise words
(probably sent in by Sheena, Bev or Elise)
George,
ReplyDeleteIf your GP prescribed ...
... do you swallow 'em or shove 'em?
Now then, ladies (sic), that hurts
Ian
And let's hope your GP piad full attention at med school?
ReplyDeleteIan - good tune, even if the lyrics get a bit lost in translation!
LOST your voice, George, I suppose you had the RUG-RATS visit over the weekend ?
ReplyDeleteThey almost always have all the germ laden bugs !!!!
Get well soon matey.
Mike, now that the snow has come (well, in Scotland, at least) have you booked your next holiday?
ReplyDeleteThis must be your favourite song?
Ian
George xx Lost your voice ? Blimey, that IS SERIOUS !! Nursey is on her way xx
ReplyDeleteGeorge may have been in contact with rugrats on Sunday but that's because he was at his sister's grandchild's christening. He must have been struck dumb as a result of being in church!
ReplyDeleteIan
I suppose one could say, He was struck dumb in awe of the effect the church had on him !!
ReplyDeleteNah, I still blame the rug rat bugs.
Ian,
ReplyDeleteSnowing, holiday RE-BOOKED, thank you.
Yes, Dean Martins song 'Let it Snow' has always had a 'SPECIAL' place in my heart (and in my wallet)!
It's snowing here in the Midlands as I type this.
This countries not so bad after all!
Here is a 'nice' snowy picture (thanks to Elsie, Elise's mom).
ReplyDeleteYou should see TWO deer in the picture.
