Good Folks
It's a day of ups and downs,
a very typical humpday.
Poor ole Terry has been in the wars
GET WELL SOON DEAR PAL
And it's hard day for the Hardy family
We're off to the funeral of one of Katrina's friends.. A girl she has known since childhood.
Just 27yrs old, and an only, much loved daughter.
It puts a lot of things into perspective for me.
I'm still around after 61 years
and have the ingratitude to moan moan moan some days
while these kids with congenital illnesses
only too often have the shortest of stays with us.
One thing is for sure, we must make every day of our lives worth something.
Some thoughts that have struck us recently, beautifully visualised by Ignazio Lacitignola, a graphic & web designer based out of San Francisco, California.
ReplyDeleteOn Jan 14 12 he posted:
New year, new focus. Here are few things I want to accomplish this year:
letting go of regrets.
focus on what I have, not what's missing.
focus on what I am, not what I’m not.
focus on what I want, not what I don’t want.
Here’s to a bright new year!
