It's my 'biggie' appointment with oncologist today and I'm hoping to post some cheering news later. As for Phil....did he say he was going to hospital for a check on his hand-job prowess?

Mmmm, just WHAT did your physiotherapy involve, Phil???????

Have a mischievous day good peeps!

Good luck, George. Hope all goes well!
ReplyDeleteThanks, David. Hope you're doing OK yourself, with a treament plan at the ready?
ReplyDeleteWell, my onco appt. went well, and it seems highly likely that those venlafaxine pills WERE responsible for the PSA rise and return to those terrible old peeing probs.
Definitely seems like the BHP side effects which were NOT mentioned in the med infomation leaflet, Grrrrrrrrrrr.
My oncologist isn't at all worried, says my results are still amazing, but will have another 'sensitive' PSA test arranged for me in a few weeks to allay any fears I might have.
Gotta admit, I am feeling a lot happier tonight! : )~
Great news George but trust you,,,you have to have a "Sensitive"PSA test!Bless!LOL
ReplyDeleteOnly joking Matey let's hope it shows that your raised PSA like mine was "Self inflicted!!"
What ya mean...'BLESS' ???????????
ReplyDeleteYou think maybe I'm a sensitive soul?
Oh dear, how wrong can you get? ; )~
Looking forward to sparks flying when I get to meet up with you and Hilary again in the dodgy end of the North east very soon, LOL
Best of luck to all, for the "testing times" ahead! Hope you score lower than me in the PSA tests!
ReplyDeleteHey Don nice to see you posting Matey,,,I posted on your site re the terrible floods over there in your neck of the woods.
ReplyDeleteHope you and your lovely family have escaped the worst......What is your PSA doing now????
Cheers
Phil,,,,,,,,,,,,
I scored a big fat zero on my PSA test! About the first time in my life I've ever been pleased that I scored nothing!(more in the "mostly good news" message on my blog) We are out of the main typhoon alley, thankfully, SSW of the poor sods who are getting it. Two more typhoons are coming in the next week unfortunately, glad to be in NE Thailand on my last job, as I mentioned to Phil, hope the wife bought some waders and an inflatable dinghy for the family and water wings for all our dogs, looks like they'll need them!
ReplyDeleteVery pleased that your hosp visit went well, George. Shirley's mammo and radiologist visit was also good, she is now visit free until Feb 2011.
