SO THE FANTASTIC OPENING FOR THE GAMES HAS GONE OFF WITHOUT A HITCH, IT WAS APSOLUTLY AMAZING.
Now we have the games to see, those of you with SKY the 24 BBC channels are on 450 - 473, on VIRGIN 574 - 597 and FREESAT 150 - 173, FREEVIEW coverage is not so good, BBC1 and BBC3 + RED button + 301 & 302.
Those of you into sports, enjoy the GAMES.
IF you see the SUN today, then enjoy that too.
Well, I think you all know I wanted an Olympics Free Zone in my house.
ReplyDeleteHOWEVER,,,,,
I sat down to watch the opening ceremony at 9pm last night and was glued to the screen till well after midnight.
Chris is right...it was absolutely amazing.
This man is a GENIUS!
Well done Danny Boyle!
BUT....
This Man is a silly old fart, a huge embarrassment to music lovers everywhere, and an insult to the memory of the Beatles.
John and George must have been feeling nauseous in their music heaven. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
WHEN will someone tell him to GO?????
You should have heard Shirley's comments, he was bad enough at the Victoria Memorial Concert.
ReplyDeleteChris, I'm so glad Shirley agrees.
ReplyDeleteMacca? It's time to hang up your silly wig and retire (gracefully...if that's possible) or I will send another one-legged Geordie gold-digger to snare ya!
Morning Chris.........
ReplyDeleteLet the Games commence then.!!!!!......My sentiments too George ........A great event but thought P.M. looked out of place there, & also very tired looking.....
Anyone, now one of the 100 millionaires since last night.?????
Mornin' John.....No millionaires @ Chez Hardy this morning.
ReplyDeleteChecked our numbers three times too! lol
Hey, the games are barely underway, and it seems our Terry (in Oz) is in big trouble with his missus already (but he doesn't seem to know it yet).
Here's a snip from his latest email to me...
"The wife left a note on the fridge; "It's not working, I can't take it anymore! Gone to stay at my Dad's."
I opened the fridge, the light came on and the beer was cold.
Not sure what she was talking about…."
Should we tell him Anthea's away on a cruise for a month? lol
We were at the opening ceremony and it was just fab. I could not stop smiling. Just wonderful, amazing xx
ReplyDeleteNor us either George........
ReplyDeleteOh well done Bevian........you home or staying in London?
here's a distraction & good exercise to, they say...!!!
Helloooooooooo Bev and Ian.
ReplyDeleteWHERE YA BIN??
John....you're a real S.O.B.
How the hell can I get to work on all my photo albums (I need family photos from 2008 - 2012 sorted and sent off for online processing) when you have just posted a real work-stopper.
I'll be stuck on the page for hours!! LMAO
George,
ReplyDeleteNot sure if you watched on SKY news last night with their newspaper review, but, before they changed the headlines, the Daily Mail agreed with you that Macca should give up.
