Grant's Funeral Arrangements

Here are Grant's funeral arrangements (as provided by Mark on the PCC site and as previously posted on the 'Rest Easy Grant' blog of this site).

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR GRANT MARTIN

Grant’s funeral will be held on Saturday, May 5th, at noon, at Mortlake
Crematorium, Kew Meadow Path, Townmead Road, Richmond TW9 4EN (020 8876
8056). There is plenty of parking there.

Afterwards Sandra and the family hope you will join them at Carvosso’s, 210
Chiswick High Road, London W4 1PD (020 8995 9121). Parking is severely
limited on the High Road and side streets, so you may need to walk a little
distance.

They request no flowers, but would be very happy if you feel able to
contribute to one or more of these charities via
http://www.justgiving.com/remember/16946/Grant-Martin:

The Prostate Cancer Charity, whose work he supported as a volunteers

Meadow House Hospice, because since the team there became involved in his
care this year it has been a constant support, with frequent home visits and
calls

Macmillan Cancer Support, which we have both supported for many years, and
whose palliative care team at Charing Cross Hospital ensured that his end
was peaceful and comfortable

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will be there on behalf of the B2PCa site and to give Sandra all the love and support possible.

Mike

Saturday: Hello Folks

Goooood Mooning Good People

Isn't rain wonderful?

NOT!!

Never mind, because

as the old saying goes

IT'S LOVELY WEATHER

FOR DUCKS!

Hey guys, here's a little something which

might just ease your worries.

FRIDAY - Carry on nurse

Goooood Afternoon Folks

Geeez I am late today.

What a carry on!

I had an early GP appointment, and that just escalated. Before I knew it I was sent off to hospital for blood tests....and then....

Horror of horrors...

off to another department

for a chest x-ray.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO

EMBARRASSED IN MY LIFE!!

I have a confession to make. Over two weeks of non-stop torrential rain convinced me to spend some time in my favourite 'massage parlour/tanning salon'

(Phil recommended it to me years ago)

Yesterday I felt fabulous

after 6 hours of ermmmmm....

 'pampering' and tanning.

Now....if I'd known I was going to have to take my shirt off in the hospital, I could have taken action to hide my naughty secret

But, no chance......

I was caught like a rabbit in headlights.

I will never live it down!!

And how has YOUR day been so far??

LMAO

So, peeps and peepessesses, do your worst!

Wednesday: Another HUMP DAY

Good morning

Good Folks

It's a day of ups and downs,

a very typical humpday.

Poor ole Terry has been in the wars

GET WELL SOON DEAR PAL

And it's hard day for the Hardy family

We're off to the funeral of one of Katrina's friends.. A girl she has known since childhood.

Just 27yrs old, and an only, much loved daughter.

It puts a lot of things into perspective for me.

I'm still around after 61 years

and have the ingratitude to moan moan moan some days

while these kids with congenital illnesses

only too often have the shortest of stays with us.

One thing is for sure, we must make every day of our lives worth something.

Please don't kneel in prayer...

I'm not your usual 'saint'you know!

I never expected to be canonised  at such a young age (I was 21)

But I've tried my best to be good for 40yrs now. I always failed of course, but it's been FUN!

Have a Happy St George's  Day I gotta dash,

SUNDAY: SHOWERS AGAIN

Good Afternoon all

George is back on

Top Moaning Form Today.

My 'fecking' computer is running as slow as treacle and I'm going to have to take it in for repair.

However, every cloud has a silver lining.

It means I can spend all afternnon digging out my old computer, updating it

(should take about 2 hours at least for those damn updates!),

wiring it all up, and hopefully  getting the bugger to work...which means....

I can totally avoid all the visiting rugrats today.

BLISS!!!

LOL

The weather here has been shocking all week.

I was on the point of building an 'Ark'.

But, all this rain made me remember one of my favourite songs (and bands) from the sixties.

THE FORTUNES.

Turn up the music.............LOUD!!
