Morning John....

Little Johnny - Breakfast]

A grade three teacher is giving a lesson on nutrition, and she decides to ask her students what they had for breakfast.

To add a spelling component, she asks the students to also spell their answers.

Susan puts up her hand and says she had an egg,

'E-G-G'.

'Very good', says the teacher.

Peter says he had toast 'T-O-A-S-T'.

'Excellent.'

Johnny has his hand up and the teacher reluctantly calls on him.

'I had bugger all', he says, 'B U G G E R A L L .

The teacher is mortified and scolds Johnny for his rude answer.

Later when the lesson turns to geography, she asks the students some rudimentary questions.

Susan correctly identifies the Capital of Canada. Peter is able to tell her which ocean is off Canada 's east coast.

When it's Johnny's turn, the teacher remembers his rude answer from the nutrition lesson, and decides to give him a very difficult question.

Johnny, she asks, 'Where is the Pakistani border?'

Johnny ponders the question and finally says, 'The Pakistani boarder is in bed shagging my mother.

That's why I got BUGGER ALL for breakfast'.

  7. Morning all........Back from dogging......Bit of a emergency going on up there with police cars, ambulance & coastguards rushing by me ..........Probably another
& sadly all to frequently another suicide victim.......Beachy Head is infamous for it.....Usually there are volunteers "Chaplins" who patrol the unfenced cliffs, but
its to vast an area to cover & only done at certain times.....I've only see them occasionally......So sad...

Well Elise..xx...its the Seventh month Harper was born,& was Beckhams playing shirt number in his Man United days......
Yeah drop the seven....but Harper..Ummmmmm......... liveable i guess

Our Barry [topgun] has just got back home, and is wading in......Nice one Barry, but am thinking its all getting a little bit outta control now....George ? I believe he is defending your honour dude ! Have a look at the thread for me, and any pearls of wisdom, might, be suitable here xx

  9. Just read it......Maybe his wading in partly due to sorrow (Alex) ...........Did feel there was no love lost,& the look on
Barrys face at Mos told it all.....I like Barry,& had a very good discussion with him & Karen late Friday evening, after Val turned in.........Says what he means,& either likes you or not. type.....a very 'know where you stand'...
Yes getting out of hand......Thinking here (if at all)how i can take the sting out.!!!!
BTW......had a work colleague jump some years ago.......affects so many people each one.....!!?

  10. John xx In general, healthy debate I am all for, upsetting people deliberately ? Well, thats' a NO NO especially when we are all on the same side [!] The boys will have to argue it out, it has happened before, and there were loosers all round.......

Love ya loads, you know that, but not getting into the other discussion. I value life dude xx Great poem posted on FB, and here it is xx

Hold on to what is good,
even if it's a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe,
Even if it's a tree that stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do,
Even if it's a long way from here.
    Hold on to your life,
Even if it's easier to let go.
    Hold on to my hand,
Even if I've gone away from you.

  12. Are you caught in a postcode lottery? For a new BBC series we are looking for stories where your postcode dictates what services you can or cannot receive, or how much you have to pay for them.

    - Have you been refused medical treatment or drugs, just because of where you live?

    - Have you been on a never ending waiting list for treatments, medication or operations that you feel you would receive quicker somewhere else in the UK?

These are just a few examples of Postcode Lottery Britain.

Health and Social Care, Housing, Transport, Council Services, Education and more – we want your stories of postcode injustices as we map out the invisible boundaries of Britain’s Postcode Lottery. This is your chance to be heard and to do something about it!

Postcode Lottery is produced for the BBC by Presentable.

  13. Heyyyyyyy, VERY interesting post, Elise. Spot on investigation,,,,Thank you xxx

As for the Simon Lord affair over on the PCC...... Ok, I'm staying out of it on there...BUT....

I had loads of compaimts about his attitude,.....going back months, and now I do think the guy has gone one step too far by criticising the PCC on their forums.

I'm pleased I had an inkling he'd do that and I'd already made sure all at The PCC admin knew that in no way does Simon Lord speak on behalf of us at Bollocks to PCa.
That was my biggest worry when he 'nicked' our group name for his Facebook group. And it has turned out the way I feared,

We wouldn't even have had this site if it wasn't for the PCC bringing us all together.

Simon is a very UNWISE guy.

  14. Hi George xx It is a worrying situation, no less, because they are waging war on Daniels thread. He doesn't deserve that, Dan is such a gentle, gentleman, in fact, I reckon he is highly confused by this sudden erruption of comments on his thread. Will the moderators step in here? I very much doubt it, but the fires are being fuelled by a lot of discontent at the moment. Answers please George? xx

The post I re-posted is bona fide, and they genuinely want to hear from you, if you feel that you have been affected. Hands up everyone I guess.

Do you ever feel that you are a bit like a Goldfish?

Have entered the murky waters of 'Twitter'....wish me luck ! Keith Cass has valiantly become my first follower ! Cheers Keith ! x Now to beef up the content, and get some action going dudes ! Watch this space ! Ha ! xx

  15. I think its a bit much nicking our name, but he has done other inappropriate moves as Barry (topgun) has mentioned.........Could Simon not realize the confusion it can cause,or is this just another cynical ploy....
I like Simons stance against his local Hospital,& too true we should highlight faults,& sloppy care,& also liked his dashing up to Cumbria to assist Daniels cause to..
George could not some members (both genders)be co opted onto the PCC & report back developments & put our views forward....set up perhaps another forum for it & call it say New Developments

    ReplyDelete
  16. Absolutely not John.No need to be co-opted onto PCC or even worse...have another special forum set up there.

B2PCa was created to escape from the serious business of the PCC once and a while.

Do you think we'd like to be in the position poor Dan is in? Elise is right, he must be bewildered.
It's terrible that such a situation has occurred, but Bollockeers are staying right away from it. It's PCC business - not ours.

Incidentally, because of our long standing B2PCa group I am frequently contacted by the moderators, and today's post was particularly kind and thoughful of them..to us all!

    Here it is:

    Dear George,

It was with great sadness that we read your post on The Prostate Cancer Charity Message Board about Alex (amunro36).

We would like to send our condolences to you and to Alex's family. 'amunro36' contributed a great deal to the Message Board and his knowledge, empathy and balanced approach was appreciated by all who read his posts. He will be greatly missed.

We are thinking of you all at this difficult time.

    Kind Regards,

    The Message Board Moderators

  17. George, such a pity a brief condolence by them is not mentioned directly on the thread, considering that this is all part of what the current crap is all about.

Lots of love from a VERY pissed off duck
    xx

  18. Post by Simon Lord ......

"Pretty upset about Topgun Barry's post. The forum isn't the place I thought it was, and his attitude and personal attack has totally ruined the place for me. I've asked the Admin delete my membership"

    George ? Any comment ?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Its getting out of head and I feel sorry for anyone going onto the site for the first time. They would be put off.
I can only speak for myself but Simon was very supportive when Ian became ill. The stupid thing is everyone has so much to give and yet its turning into a personal fight.

    How are you me darlins?

    xx

  20. Great big whopping silence tonight......... so be it

    ReplyDelete
  21. First of all, thank God you're a lot better John, and I hope you get a good result from that test.
I've been through your experience back in 2005 - and it almost killed me - I kid you not. (but that was down to crap, uncaring nursing staff at the time).
    It should never have happened.

On the other issue... the PCC rumpus. No comment, because I am totally exasperated, saddened and maddened by it all,
I'm glad we have somewhere silly to hide till they all settle down.

Incidentally, far worse than that has happened on the PCC site in the past. In 2006 these was a huge, scandalous, totally disgraceful blow-up, all caused by one man.
He even tried to saboutage the site - and that's why there is now a two minute gap before you're allowed to post a second message there.
