Wangled a "Pass out" for todayfrom her Ladyship(After plying her with gin and cherry brandy
) to tootle down to the local hostelry with Steven the SIL for a coupla or three pints of jungle juice,,,,tippled up then a totter back for a Sunday roast,

The bear remover....
A man wakes up one morning in Alaska to find a bear on his roof.
So he looks in the yellow pages and sure enough, there's an ad for "Bear Removers."
He calls the number, and the bear remover says he'll be over in 30 minutes.
The bear remover arrives, and gets out of his van. He's got a ladder, a baseball bat, a shotgun and a mean old pit bull.
"What are you going to do?" the homeowner asks.
"I'm going to put this ladder up against the roof, then I'm going to go up there and knock the bear off the roof with this baseball bat. When the bear falls off, the pit bull is trained to grab his testicles and not let go. The bear will then be subdued enough for me to put him in the cage in the back of the van."
He hands the shotgun to the homeowner.
"What's the shotgun for?" asks the homeowner.
"If the bear knocks me off the roof, shoot the dog."

Evening All. back from the toils of work. Left this morning fine and chirpy [?] but back home a sick little Duckie. Good large dose of Balvenie hopefully will sort the 'bug' out....it will be killed or drunk anyway......Half day tomorrow, blimey....what a great job I have !

Weather getting frrrrrrreeeeeezing here again, temp dropping rapidly.
GOOD NEWS for the day ? Filled car up with petrol, which came to €54.....only had to hand over €4 in hard cash....cheapest damm petrol I have ever bought ! Have a good one people !

Hiya Boss ! James is still walking on INCREDIBLY thin ice at the moment. Lets see, he has done the washing, minded kids for me, hoovered, washed and put away dishes,changed tail light in my car, topped up my screen wash, emptied fire, refilled coal bucket, made rice krispie cakes with the kids.....maybe I should forgive him now huh?! xx
