Back from our fabulous holiday in Las Vegas.
Return flight delayed by 6~hours because of volcano ash.
(Will the Icelanders never forgive us for taking them to the edge of financial ruin)!
Surely it is time to turn off the volcano's tap!!
What did we miss? The election of course. However, it was well covered in the USA media (damn it) and even more so later with the developing Cameron / Clegg liaison.
Discovered we were staying in the same hotel as the 40 or so Miss USA contestants.
Spent a couple of hours each day hanging about the lifts to get into them at the same time as some of the contestants (well at my age you take every opportunity as it arises).
Spending this weekend in my office catching up. Now who wants to buy some shovels?

And you hung around the hotel lifts every day, hoping to seize an opportunity as IT was arising?
Obviously the Zoladex has worn off, and if Kath sees your post here, I'd HIDE those shovels, because she might just 'Deep Six' ya (as our American mob friends might say). ; )~

ReplyDeleteI met a guy in the hotel 'Planet Hollywood' Las Vegas last week, dresses, looked and sang like Elvis. He said he was the REAL Elvis and the reports of his death were exaggerated.
I thought this strange because the 'Daily Sport' newspaper maintains Elvis is on the moon living in a London bus!
