Grim news for Teesside with the expected closure of the steel industry there.
Same damn thing happened in my town years ago. We had a huge steelworks and rolling mill, thousands of jobs (the pubs thrived, lol) but now all we have there is friggin call centres and pubs either demolished or converted into Indian, Chinese, Thai take-aways...and even a children's nursery in one case!
