Dear Friends,
Some of you may have already heard this tragic news.
Mark passed away at 1am this morning,
I switched on my phone on waking, and found a message from his daughter Gemma.
This is yet another sad day in all our lives.
Words simply aren't enough.
Love and prayers for Debs and the girls.
Mark? Au Revoir.
We will meet again my dear friend.

ReplyDeleteToday I feel I can't talk to anyone. This is hurting too much.
ReplyDeleteGod only knows how painful this is for Debbie and the girls, and for his good friend Grahame, and our own Allister, who had such a close bond with Mark.
We'll have a quiet weekend of reflection, remembering the good times - and also remembering just how hard a fight Mark fought.
They say life is too short....well Mark was taken far too early, too young, and very cruelly.
The unfairness of it all makes my blood boil.
On Monday let's make an effort to do as he would wish...and carry on with our utter defiance of this terrible enemy we all face.
George
