24th March: FIve Years On

Well, my good friends,
Today marks 5 years since that first PSA test came back at 182...and the rest, as they say, is history.
I never thought I'd be here today typing this announcement.

Getting to know so many of you all online and in person over those five years was a real bonus.
Every cloud has a silver lining.

But, the battle goes on, day by day, and we must be forever vigilant,  never forgetting those friends who are sadly no longer with us.

Thank you all,

BE WELL!

George

  4. Yes, very well done George. You've been through the mill (sorry, should I say t' mill) in that time, and have come out from under. Sounds like this anniversary for you and Mike should be celebrated with a Spring get-together ...

  9. Thanks everyone, but I have a way to go before I catch up with Phil...... now he is a TRUE veteran.

I see a lot of us here were diagnosed around the same time. They say if you're together long enough you begin to look like eachother. Pity it's the 'monkey' look' that dominates though.

Perhaps it's a rare side effect of PCa, HT, RT, chemo...or the full combination!!
