G'd afternoon folks

Just a quickie to let you know I'm very under the weather at the moment.

A drive in the sunshine yesterday ended up with me standing cold, wet and shivering by the sea on a typically miserable 'Tea time on Teesside'
Within 5 minutes my neck and shoulders has seized up because of this damn arthritis problem.
Multiple painkillers finally eased the trouble by midnight, but today it's back again and I can barely move my head.
Add my bloody peripheral neuropathy to the mix...and I'm in a right old sate.
It's very difficult for me to type.
Geeeez, I need a good service.

Any kind ladies willing to come to the rescue?

Sorry to hear about that George, the bracing sea air is SUPPOSED to do good !!
ReplyDeleteNeedn't have worried about PSA, up from 1.5 to 2.5 in 4 months so NO treatment yet, but have gone a local trial :-
Randomised double blind study of antioxident-rich food supplements in men with PCa. (pills consist of pomegranate, green tea, turmeric and broccoli OR watercress extract)
3 months supply then another blood test and another 3 months worth of pills.
If its dificult to type, see if your puter has speech recognition, then you can talk to it and it types, (then spend the next hour correcting its mistakes)[ been there done that]
George, we all know about a wet tee time on Tesside
ReplyDelete... but if your aches and pains (say "Hi!" to the rugrats) aren't eased by the painkillers
... then I'll put on the trade plates and send you these three from my local service bay.
They said they'd be delighted to inspect your underseal, grease your nipples and tune your catalytic converter.
PS: Chris, glad you're not worrying about the PSA - but rather you than me on broccoli or watercress. ROFLL
Chris? You're right not to be worried about the PSA...and I have to say that your trial sounds a marvellous idea.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see someone in the oncology profession is taking diet so seriously.
Green tea, turmeric and broccoli and watercress are just three of the items in the diet I've followed since a month after diagnosis in 2005 - and you know how advanced my cancer was at that time (supposedly terminal). It's all there in the Jane Plant programme.
Hey, Bev and Ian?....That service sounds just the job....except I DO NOT WANT MY NIPPLES GREASED thank you!
Chris? I'm finally getting round to posting more of your funnies - this one for a start:
(Terry and Pauline...I've got yours to do too...I ain't forgotten.....just gotta work at a slower pace these days).
Sorry, George, I'd forgotten that you've not had your chest waxed!
ReplyDeleteIan
And talking of firemen (deliberately non-PC), we must provide some eye candy for the wimmin
ReplyDelete... otherwise they might be tempted to test the fire alarm.
ROFLL
George as a part of my new charity service for the old and infirm I was looking forward to greasing your nipples.
ReplyDeleteThe gun is ready in the garage!

ReplyDeletewas going to put a pic of me at the World Naked Bike Ride on here for Mike but don't know how.......shame
ReplyDeleteHi Keith xx email me the pic and I will post it for you.
ReplyDeleteGeorge ? You need a good chest rub !
Lil' Duck is now in control of your mind ! Can you feel me staring at your George !? xx
I am a bit fed up today - still in pain - so whats new, but, there have been some nasty posts on PCC forum about me. What do I do. If I retaliate, thats me up the creek, but nobody should be allowed to say such things and get away with it. It has given me a headache, and the conviction to just pull out from everything,
George, It's been a while since I heard the words "just a quickie"!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memory..................hope you fel better soon. And Elise,I didn;t notice anything - have the offending posts been pulled? Stuff em all gel!!
Elise, sweetheart, IGNORE them, they are not worth getting upset about. xxxx
ReplyDeleteWe need you on here and LOL need you as well as the site you helped to start, so don't give everything up just yet, PLEASE. xx
George hope you feel better soon, Elise ignore the stupid woman she is probably the wife of the the silly man who has been stirring things up, don't leave us what would we do without you keeping the men on here under control ;-) xx
