Sunburn
-------------------------
A doctor is making his rounds in the hospital when he comes upon a guy with the worst case of sunburn he has ever seen. The poor guy is burnt raw from head to toe and is in agony. He says to the doctor, "Is there anything you can give me to ease this terrible pain?"
So the doctor says, "Yes, I'll prescribe you some Viagra".
"Viagra?" says the poor guy. "How will that help my sunburn?".
"It won't help your sunburn much" says the doctor, "but at least it'll keep the sheets off it!"
LMAO....GREAT JOKE....I was tempted to get some sun today...so that's a real handy tip.
ReplyDeleteNow...where's me viagra? LOL
Phil,
That is SUCH a positive post from you about your appointment. Soooooo good to see!!

ReplyDeleteThat joke tip won't be neccessary with this heat as lying on top of bed at night anyway at mo.........Its nudging 30 C here & soon be heading off inland shortly with dog.....so even hotter.......
ReplyDeleteNoticed how many people having solar panels fitted these days?......my neighbour just down our Close had them fitted on roof, for 8.000 squid recently....& he is 88.......geeese...he said whats point of keeping money in the Bank as no interest,& value of house increases to & doing my 'green credentials' bit to......fair point i suppose........!!!!
Phil........Thanks for your positive update matey......Keep with her if i was you,as sure seems on the ball.......Read such big improvements to guys who are on Abbytab on PCC & the Cabbage juice to sounds very promising........positive times ahead for sure.....
Well done Phil for seeing a new onco, it seems like getting a second opinion without going out of the way to do it. Pity PSA is so high though, good luck with the new regime.
ReplyDeleteHow is George ?
Good news Phil, well done.
ReplyDeleteCheers Chris,John, :))
ReplyDeleteAnd Welcome back Keith and Nette xx!!!,,hope you had a blast!
Thanks again for the libation Matey,,slipped down a treat!!!!
Welcome back Keith and Nette, and an 'official welcome home' to Chris....plugged in again - at last! Have you finished unpacking your 150 boxes??
ReplyDeleteYou asked how I was? Silly question, lol...I'm barmier than ever since my head transplant!! (Shaddup Phil!!) ; )~
A question for Elise....Are there any PRIVATE (and posh) hospitals in your area?
I was in one of those places yesterday for the very first time (via NHS) and it was like stepping up from a doss house to the Ritz.
The staff were excellent...and every nurse was helpful, extremely competent,,,,and most important of all .....they all looked relaxed and happy...something they are certainly not in my usual hospitals. There, they are generally rushed off their feet and 'frazzled'.
Surely the perfect new job for you Elise? Only the best will do for our Our Lil' Duck xxx
Looks like Elise has already web footed it George?,,,Ou est La Duck' ???
ReplyDelete:(
had a great holiday, away for 4 weeks in Portugal.
ReplyDeleteOnly problem was when I ran myself over with my own car...doh
put it in reverse (automatic) and opened an ice cream, dropped some in my lap so guess what...I got out to pick it up..oops
car goes backwards, Keith tries to jump in and stop it, car door hits Keith, Keith falls over and just manages to roll out of the way of the front wheel.
But the door went over me and I did not fit under it so got scraped along the road a bit before it went over me.
Bruises on each hip the size of footballs and scrapes on my knee and shoulder. Still I will mend.
So will the car with the help of a good bodywork shop
John do you believe in ESP, I read your post about solar panels and the phone rang with some knob head trying to seel me some! co-incidence?
ReplyDeleteHi Keith, & sorry to read of your car woes,& trust you & car will mend quickly....
ReplyDeleteNot really as put the solar panel post on as a ploy & that knobhead was me..!!!?.....Going ring George next.....LOL
Seriously though, walking the dog, have noticed quite a few going up recently,& i know heating bills are frigging enormous, but outlay is not loose change is it?.......£8,000 quid..!!!!..huh.!.....even darn Sarth here, sun is at best unreliable, especially in Winter......
Keith? UNBELIVEABLE!! And I shouldn't laugh.....next time take the tandem - much safer!
ReplyDeleteJust after that knobhead rang you about solar panels - he rang me....GOTTA BE A SUVVENER...doesn't he realise I'm in the frozen, grey north???
