    I am at work today so am typing this from “The Office”.


    Thank you for your E-mail, I was surprised you found it necessary to tell Kath & me that you had a JUMP yesterday in your words "a day early of course", on the stairs whilst you were half asleep in your normal early morning 'fog'.
    I am extremely concerned that it left Lynn in your words "in fits of hysterical laughter".

    I think it best if I give no further details of your E-mail to me except to say that I am sure you can sort out this problems between the two of you.

    For some people, reaching 60 is a minor hurdle but for some like my good friend George, it is a major milestone.

    He has overcome many things in those sixty years, tone deafness, poor taste in clothing and terrible hair styles but he soldiers on and shrugs off that life throws at him with a smile on his face and love in his heart.

    I've been asked to pass on birthday wishes and a long life from his two biggest fans the cigarette industry and the treasury.

    Thank you everyone for all the kind, and not so kind wishes (WODGER IS IN FOR A KICKING!! Mr Callow? I'm bringing some BIG folks from Arizona to the Leicester do....and Colin, Keith and Phil are pretty stocky blokes too, while Mike is tall enough to butt your head with his belly! You have been warned. LOL)

    Nice to know that Dan's Beverley shares my birthday. I bet she's a real looker, very talented, slim, got all her own hair, and is incredibly intelligent! LMAO



    NOW.....It's been a day of mixed news about Alex.
    Early this afternoon I heard very depressing news from his friend Keith.
    Alex was in a critical condition last he heard.... but just an hour ago I had a text from Pat which was encouraging.
    She says Alex has now been moved to a 'proper' ward and is being monitored. She'll keep us up to date.

    It remains a worrying time, but Alex is one helluva fighter!
    Let's will him through this latest battle, and have him back home a.s.a.p.
