In 2005 this guy said there wasn't much hope for me. His plan?......Injections till I faded away quietly. (AS IF!!, lol). I had to push to see an onco urgently. Once I'd got the oncologist everything changed.
I also changed my diet completely, stopping all dairy produce. At a meeting with this ignoramus urologist a month later, I told him about the diet and his words were 'It's too late to be of much help, George..but if it makes you feel better.....'
Thankfully I've avoided all contact with him since then, all urology reviews being done by my specialist nurse there.
Unfortunately, I had to see knobhead again yesterday after he'd seen a slow rise in my PSA this year. I've only just had an onco appointment and he wasn't worried, nor am I.
But....here was silly me thinking the uro would just arrange scans for me, since it's 5 years since I had any. That's what re-staging is all about.
Oh no, he was as brilliant as ever, with even better words of wisdom than before. This time it was 'Well, you'll remember we said you had slim to nil chance of a cure because of the stage you're at'.
And no, I shouldn't have monthly PSA tests to be on guard for steep rises. (The asshole doesn't realise I have my blood request forms all lined up ready for the next six months, lol). It's good strategy to have as many 'ologists' as you can! : )~
Then he suggested we return to his original plan for me.....Ingenious!!
I felt obliged to decline his offer and bid him a hurried but 'fond' farewell as the smoke billowing from my ears was about to trigger the smoke alarms!
Hey, I was just thinking, I hope the above photo wasn't too 'indecent'.....but IT IS a true image of my uologist. (The front view was toooo shocking to show you, LMAO).
hahahahah! u got the same urologist as I have , must have , what useless plonkers they are! and I think that they must all be brothers , cos Mine looks exactly the same as yours ! lol
