Glad the weather looks like it'll be on my side, at least on Sunday. The forecast is down for 22 degrees, light wind and plenty of sun, around the Bristol - Weston-super-Mare area.
My trusty steed.
Although with different pedals and a not-so-much-slice-you-in-half seat.
I'm a bit concerned as the organiser of the Great Weston Bike Ride was meant to be completing it with me, which I thought was OK since he's slightly older than my tender years and has a dodgy knee. But he's decided to now instead drive his car as a support car, providing help and assistance should I require it (I did ask about oxygen masks and the use of a defibrillator). To keep me company, he's decided to let his 17 year old son and his mate cycle the route, both avid cyclists and regularly clock up 80-100 miles on their trips. What chance do I have!
And more from 'Downunder'...oh yes...much much more!
ReplyDeleteCheers for that George.
