I have had business visitors here from India all this week so very busy! Almost 2000 miles so far this week visiting customers. Amazing, they absolutely LOVE 'British~Indian' curries.
Off to London now to see my daughter for her birthday tomorrow.
Morning all xx Beautiful day here so far. Yes, back home tomorrow Chris xx The week has flown so quick. Then back to London next week to meet up with a bunch of distinguished Gentlemen to talk about the weather ! PMSL !
May I ask if you could all spare a thought for one of my ladies please ? Ina Sutherland suddenly lost her beloved David on Saturday. He had PCa, and had just started chemo. He was taken into hospital with a suspected urine infection, which resulted in Renal failure. The family are completely devastated, as this was not expected. His funeral is today in Edinburgh. Thanks Guys xx
Been a terrible year Elise......just don't know what to say.........Ina, Davidi & family are in our thoughts .....
What a difference a day makes...Since my old Employers applied for a drought order two days ago, to extract more river water,as the reservoirs are at an all time low,it hasn't stopped raining....well it has now & tis a lovely day.....picked mushrooms on the Downs to when up there dogging earlier...
Geeez, what a a bunch of gypsies you lot are. So much travelling, to so many places in such a short time, and here's me still waiting for my entry visa to London.
If I can be 'extra nice' to John, I wonder if he and Val could smuggle me aboard their cruise ship???
Mind you I do hundreds of miles driving a week, but it's all around Geordieland, usually evading the police:
Elise? I was looking through my mail for old post from Ina Sutherland......and was absolutely stunned to see that it was only in April of this year that she first wrote, asking for a bit of advice after David's diagnosis.
His passing is such a shock.....so soon, and so unexpectedly. When you next see Ina online, please give her my love and condolences.
Thanks George xx of course I will. This has really rocked all the ladies so much. David was doing okay to be honest, not really any significant side effects then WHAM. At least we had time to say our goodbyes to Dad, and were prepared for him going. As heartbroken as we all are, at least we had that comfort. My lil' heart really cannot take any more this year.....I admit I am a wimp......xx
You can do one from me please George xx I will be en route to Heathrow tomorrow, heading back home again. Then, back to see you lot on Wednesday ! Phew.....Lil' Duck is getting knackered xx
Morning Chris, morning all.
